Help us re-color GSC sprites! These will be used for all of the old Pokemon in the games. This is so we have a wide variety of sprites.
Remember that the sprites have to be the same proportions as the RSE ones. And they may/may not be accepted, depending if the shading is good.
This is a way for people who can't make scratch sprites, but are otherwise very good at updating sprites.
I will post the sprites that I edited as an example in a couple minutes.

It's much easier to have one set of sprites. I considered this, but it ended up being a waste of time..
If you still wanna go ahead, ask Dragonfree for hers.

Not all of them should be done, just the sprites still in their correct proportions.
Another reminder: Use the colors from the RSE sprites, so shiny sprites can be made.

But can't you use sprites of ruby, sapphire and emerald? I mean, even if some pkmn don't appear in that games, they've done their sprites in the same style. Or you just want to refurbish them?

We want to have a large variety of sprites made by different people. For originality. Or sometrhing like that...

So, the sprites must be the same as in GSC, and you just want new colors...

www.freewebs.com/digimon249/mypokemon.htmAt the bottom there's some re/defurbished pinball sprites...I bet I could do actual pokemon sprites too. *have been to school, grandparent's house for 2 weeks, and a "limited computer time" thing...

The shading needs to match the form of it's body. It's hard to tell where to shade on Ditto, though, since it is just a blob.
And the outlining needs to have darker shades of pink instead of black.

Aww... I was going to do this for my game . I have a couple of them done, but with my style to them. Seeing the others though I guess some of mine look like they fit, so I'll post some later. And a note about GS sprites, pokemon like Raikou have different features than what RS shows. And all the R/S backpics were revamped G/S backpics and used for the pokemon found in GS. Example Pupitar is the same with one spike heightened. Weedle just has more color, shading is nearly identicle, I'll provide pics if needed. And will Sneasels get their original colors back, Brown and Green, they changed it for some weird reason in RS. Okay, image host is now working... Bulbasaur - Silver Celebi - Gold Charmander - Silver (colors difer from RS colors, because they sucked) Ditto - Silver (Will this Ditto work?) Ivysaur - Gold Kakuna - Gold Kingdra - Gold Metapod - Gold Raikou - Gold/Silver (The same sprite in each game) Venusaur - Gold Blastoise - Gold Beedrill - Silver If you like, I'll let you guys have some more when I do 'em. I try not to use any black unless I have to, I don't know why though...

All nicely handled and excepted. (Chamander looks a bit weird though) Post them at the New sprites board

Is it the colors or his position? (For charmander)

It's position looks awkward. That sometimes happens with GSC or RYB sprites. Their proportions are off because of space limitations. I think...
